I love everything about this clock radio-except for one thing. It has AM/FM radio and an iPod dock with a remote control, with great sound. The only problem is that the alarm (radio or iPod) starts out at a low level and quickly increases to an ear blasting level. I don't appreciate being jarred out of bed. I called Emerson to see if this was a defect with one radio or a feature of the product. It'a a feature, and, sadly, I'm going to return it.

I purchased this in December 2006 to sit in my cube at work so I could listen to the ipod without draining the battery. I had a tough choice choosing between this and another one, but went with this one because of the free super saver shipping. What a great deal! Not only is this item superbly compact enough to be discreet on my desk, but the sound quality coming from the speakers is excellent.

What I really like this product is the ability to charge the ipod while listening, which is a definite plus. Also, I have read other reviews about the ipods not fitting securely into the station, and they must have fixed that because I did not have that problem. In the box there were adaptors for each type of ipod, and my ipod mini fit extremely securely.

You can program 10 FM and 10 AM stations into the radio channel memory, and I like the fact that the date will show with the time on the screen. The remote is compact but easy to use, and I also really like that the antenna is a wire in the back of the system and not a large silver antenna sticking out of the top.

I would highly recommend this!

This compact system is perfect for my child to use with her iPod Shuffle. The sound is not the best on the market, but decent for the price and primary audience. This is a far superior alternative to many of the other i-accessories on the market that will work with a Shuffle, three of which we tried before settling on this one. The only shortfall is that you can't use the Shuffle with the alarm clock. I realize this is more of a limitation of the Shuffle than this dock, but Emerson could be more explicit in stating this in the ad. Overall, I'd recommend this for a child's room, small office space, or use while travelling.

This machine is very handy and portable. The sound quality is somewhat lacking, but in this price range, I think this stereo is a good deal. I use it in the kitchen while cooking and take it outside while gardening. It charges your ipod and is fairly user friendly. The design is the sleekest on the market.

I enjoy my new Emerson iP500WH player. It is has great features: set Alarm Clock to use iPod, remote can be used to set Alarm, change songs on iPod, and set AM/FM radio stations and change the stations with the remote. It is perfect for the kitchen, bedroom, or for just relaxing outside on the porch.

Only bad feature is that you can't change between different artists with the remote. You have to change it manually by hand.

Overall, if you are looking for something relatively cheap with great features and sound, then this is the product for you.

I am very happy with this product. It's affordable and it works great. Set up is incredibly simple and the sound is great. I'm actually jammin' to it right now! What sealed the deal is that it comes with a remote and it charges the ipod when not in use. The only downside is that the clock is way too small, so don't toss out your old alarm clock!

I bought this item for my wife who uses it at work. She needed a radio/iPod combination, and this looked like the perfect match. The sound quality is excellent, especially for a smaller room. The only complaint is with the iPod adapter for the Nano, it really should be designed better. The way the adapter is made makes it hard to fit the Nano into the cradle. I had to angle the bottom of the Nano while forcing it down rather hard to get it to sit properly. I was worried I might damage the Nano by having to force it so much. Other than that, I think it's a great product for the money.

We have two different ipods in the house (original ipod and a new nano) and both easily adapt to this system. It was very easy to install under our kitchen cabinet. You can also take it off the mounted bracket and carry it anywhere. The sound quality is great and it's very compact. I would definitely recommend this item.

I bought this to use in my kitchen and have had no problems with it at all. I like that it doesnt take up too much space. I know the sound isn't the best on the market but for the price I think it does quite well. I was only conserned with having music while I cook and the iTone does just that.

Unit was misrepresented. Claimed to work with all dockable IPods. Would play my 8gh Nano, but would not charge it. Factory said that was the case with the gen 4 Nano.. Returned product, but I am pissed that I had to pay shipping both ways for a product that was misrepresented.
