2008 release, a collection of a lesser known side of Jerry's career: radio and recording artist. While his former partner Dean Martin was topping the pop charts, Lewis made a series of hit novelty records, which he would often perform live on The Martin and Lewis Radio show. This CD features many of those rare performances and also some of Jerry's memorable performances in sketches with such stars as his long time comedy partner Dean Martin, Henry Fonda, Peter Lorre (who would later star with Lewis in the film The Patsy) and Tony Curtis (who would later star with Lewis in the film Boeing, Boeing). .Born Joseph Levitch in Newark, NJ, Lewis was best known as a movie comedian/writer/director/producer; he did try his hand at serious singing, however, recording several singles and one charted album in the late '50s. His other charted single was 'It All Depends on You', originally a Paul Whiteman hit in 1927. EMI Gold.

This recording of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis' radio show, shows them at their comic best. The only drawback is that you can't see what it is they are doing on stage. These are two men who really spark off each other, if you don't know who they are then this is the recording for you. Sit back. Relax. And let Dean and Jerry entertain you.
