4.0 out of 5 stars Nice side project, November 4, 2007

Basically, in my own words, Emigrate is sort of a side project for Richard Kruspe (guitarist and founder of Rammstein). Its all in English, so for the non-german listeners it should be a lot easier to understand. In a couple of the songs, I could hear some basic beats taken from Rammstein to be implemented here. But, it really does have a whole new sound. The songs vary in pace and strength of the beats. Overall, a very good cd and well worth it. Especially if youre a fan of Kruspe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deserves a big audience..., January 1, 2009

This is a really refined rock album by Rammstein guitarist Richard Kruspe. The writing is not dissimilar from Rammstein yet very different in its own way. It is NOT a Rammstein album but an interim project as we all await the next Rammstein album. It does contain well crafted songs with good hooks, driving techno drums, all English lyrics, and powerful metal riffs. This is at least as good as anything on the radio today and well worth your time.

Rammstein guitar player makes a solo album that is awesome beyond words. Lyrics in english, hard industrial metal with a few cool balads...buy this. For fans of Rammstein, Eisbrecher, and KMFDM.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Good Album, July 8, 2010
This review is from: Emigrate (Audio CD)
Though the music differentiates from that of Rammstein's by quite a bit, the unique sound and lyrics are well worth listening to. I agree with others about the album simply growing on you the more you listen to it, especially the songs: emigrate, resolution, wake up, and in my tears. Overall, the album is exciting and a good listen.
