I love Emile Henry stoneware. Dishwasher safe, freezer safe, microwave safe, even broiler safe (not sure you're supposed to do that last one!). Attractive, affordable.

These are the perfect size. Large enough for pasta, not so big that the food looks dwarfed by the dish. Also, they are perfect in the microwave and dishwasher. I would buy more of these!
