I make a lot of quiches and was searching for a larger plate, but didn't want a Chinese made, because of lead concerns. The Emile Henry arrived and I couldn't believe how big it was! No more average size quiches ever again. The workmanship was flawless. A well spent $42.

I love baking pies and this dish has a number of excellent qualities to recommend it. Being a frugal sort, I'm not in the habit of spending quite so much on cookware, however I REALLY wanted a 12-inch pie plate that could not only go in the oven but microwave as well. As a time-saver I often microwave my pies for a short time before baking so that fruit (especially, firm apples) are cooked through but retain their shape. After microwaving I brown my pies in the oven for 15 minutes or so. This pie plate perfectly fit my requirements, is lovely, deep, and my pie crusts brown to perfection. Serving and clean up are truly a snap. My first dish was damaged in shipping, but a replacement was promptly sent out and the customer service person was pleasant and extremely helpful!Emile Henry 12-Inch Dish, White

Emile Henry 12-Inch Pie Dish Azure BlueI was happy to find such a large pie dish, however, when I received it, it was broken in many pieces. I reordered and again the second pie dish was broken. Sadly, I needed to return and did not have time to reorder another. Thanksgiving was just days away. I was dissappointed.

This pie dish is fabulous! My favorite thing to bake in it is a quiche. I don't use a crust and it doesn't stick at all. It's a beautiful color and is easy to clean. The fluted edges give it a nice touch as well.

We gave our son-in-law's brother an Emile Henry 12" pie plate recently for his birthday. He's been perfecting apple pie in recent months and will enjoy the beautifully crafted and generously sized pie plate. Emile Henry pieces wash easily and continue to look like new through the years.

I bought this plate in this color because it looked like a bright sunny yellow. No so, so we sent it back.It is a darker mustard yellow. Nothing wrong with the gorgeous plate itself, just not the color pictured. I had also ordered it in the azure blue which was as pictured. It's a keeper. Beautiful.

I have made 2 phone calls to the shipper of this product and my broken pie plate is still not being dealt with!
I was instructed to leave the plate in it's original packaging and someone form the company would email or call with instructions on how to return it, neither happened. I would not deal with this vender ever again.
