These are simply the best containers for making creme brulee. They are a perfect single serving size. They hold up to the heat and never discolor or change the taste of the food.

In fact I have even been served these exact Ramekins in a restaurant, that should speak to their quality. We also use them to serve sauces when we serve buffet style or for holding measured ingredients when cooking.

A very simple, elegant and relativly inexpensive kitchen accessory.

Great ramekins with high heat tolerance. Easy to clean and they stack nicely. Perfect size for most recipes (6 oz). Hint: When using the ramekins in a 'bain-marie', a jar lifter such as the (Norpro 600 Jar Lifter) is a useful tool to have. You can lift the ramekins safely out of the water bath - No need to buy a pan with a "ramekin lifter/holder" rack.

These ramekins are absolutely perfect for creme brulee, which is one of my favorite deserts of all time. They're the perfect size, deal with the heat well, and don't discolor at all. If you are having a dinner party and want to impress your guests with something that's easy, but looks very fancy - buy these ramekins and make some creme brulee with dessert. Your guests will love it!

We also use these occasionally to serve different sauces with meals.

My wife loves the set of 4 Emile Henry Couleurs 6oz ramekins. She says they are perfect for all sorts of individual-portion desserts that require baking.

Great size for warming up baby food as it is not plastic. They are easy to clean and have endured 100s of dish washing cycles.

We use these for everything: berries, nuts, raisins, yogurt, ice cream. My nephew loves them for his chocolate chips, Annie's bunny crackers, raisin and blueberry mixes, and frozen berries...and, of course, ice cream. They're ideal for smaller portions. They're easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
