Marcigny, a small town nestling between the hills of Southern Burgundy, has been home to Emile Henry for the past 150 years. Faithful to its origins, the entire production is carried out here. I received the ramekins the mail today and was very disappointed because they are smaller than the manufacturer states they are. The item packaging and the website both state that the ramekins are 6 oz., yet they looked too small to hold 6 oz. so I used a measuring cup and measured out 6 oz. of water and poured the water into the ramekins to the very top. The ramekins could only take 4 oz. of water and the remaining 2 oz. remained in the measuring cup. I am returning the ramekins immediately...and have already printed the return label.
