Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Ideal for kitchen or dining table, this covered butter dish stores and serves 8 ounces of butter. It measures 7-1/4 inches long, 4-1/2 inches wide, and 2-1/2 inches high and is microwave- and dishwasher-safe. Since 1850, Emile Henry cookware and bakeware have been made in Burgundy, where a unique clay is kiln-fired into a ceramic unsurpassed for conducting and retaining heat. Prized worldwide, Emile Henry products come in a wide range of colors, from the earth tones (with creamy interiors) of the rustic Le Potier line to the bright hues of the Couleurs line (with white interiors), of which this butter dish is a gleaming example. Each piece is stamped with the year it was made and the initials of its craftsman and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Product Description

The vibrant, cheery colors of the Emile Henry glazes makes the tabletop line a fun addition to any home. Made from Ceradon ceramics, the dinnerware collection is nearly impervious to scratches, cracks and chips, unlike other less expensive ceramics. Emile Henry's Table collection includes a complete line of dinnerware, couter-top pieces, and complimentary table-top serving pieces. The simple, yet classic shapes of the pieces are further emphasized by the vibrant colors and deep hues of the glazes. Because of the high-heat production vitirification process, you can cut directly in or on them without worrying about scratching the glaze. Plus for the ultimate in convenience all of Emile Henry's table and bakeware can go directly from freezer to hot oven and into the dishwasher when finished. Each piece is made in France
