Attractive and useful, just right for cooking for one or two,

Although we have acquired a number of useful Emile Henry pieces over the years, this little set is a new favorite. It is just right for serving a hot vegetable in one and a cold salad in the other in portions to serve the two of us. It also works for side dishes at larger meals. And, although Emile Henry may call these "individual" lasagna bakers, my experience is that one of these makes enough of a pasta or potato casserole to serve two of us -- again, with one dish left over for vegetables or salad. These are convenient to cook with, easy to clean up, and hard-wearing baking dishes. The fact that they come in a size convenient for empty nest or solo cooking is worth taking into account, as well. An excellent value. |
