I use this to serve pasta dishes and all sorts of salads. It is high quality, the perfect size, and cleans very easily. It's attractive too. Worth every penny!

Purchased this as a set with the four small bowls,love it.just the right size for pasta or salads.Wonderful color and of course the quality that comes with Emile Henry.I have also used it for a serving bowl at a buffet for fruit salad,excellent bowl good price.

I ordered four and one of them arrived cracked. They also tend to get light scratches very quickly on the white part inside. Another one has chipped already. These are not very durable. They look ok, the outside has an earthy quality.

I'm very happy with this beautiful serving bowl. I hesitated a bit because it seemed rather pricey to me, but I'm glad I went for it. It's a nice looking bowl, and heavy (ceramic). I love that it can be popped into the oven to keep contents (mostly pasta w/sauce, for us) warm while finishing up other dinner preparations. Also retains that heat and keeps the food warm on the table much longer than a standard glass bowl would. Also great for salad, or... really anything. Bottom is unglazed, so you can see the composition beneath the pretty white surface. Perfect size, and looks good. Highly recommend.

I purchased this Emile Henry pasta bowl primarily because it was described as "oven proof." Indeed, the bowl warmed well in a slighted heated oven so I got my home-made pasta to the table at the optimum warm temperature for serving. The bowl costs more that other advertised pasta bowls that are only microwave and dishwasher safe but if you can spend the extra money, you have a more functional pasta bowl.

I love these pasta bowls and what a great price. They're substantial and they look great. You won't be disappointed. I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about in reference to scratches, but you can tell they're very good quality. I have had mine for almost a year now and we use them for pasta at least two times a week. No scratches.

This is a beautiful pasta bowl--deeper than others so it's very versatile. Can be used for salads, etc.
