This is another beautfully, wonderful Emile Henry baking dish. My banana bread and others come out perfect every time and, it holds a large loaf. Beauty, durability, practicality, function, serving and easy clean-up ... what more can you ask for in bake ware?

This is one of four Emile Henry pieces I own and it easily lives up to its reputation. I use it for everything from quick breads to meat loaves to baked oatmeal and every recipe has baked up evenly. I also find it very easy to clean. As long a I bake with a little cooking spray or lightly grease my pan I find that any stuck on food comes off with a simple sponge. I also regularly wash them in the dishwasher and have not had any problems with the color fading or the pan chipping. I'm very pleased with this product overall.

The actual color green is darker than it appears on the website, but it is a nicer green, so I am happy. It is a heavyweight pan and it really does hold its temperature. I received it on a cold day and the pan was cold when I removed it from the box. Sometime later, the pan was still very cold, despite being in my warm house. I would assume it would hold heat just as well. I have only used it once and was happy with it, though I did not notice any difference between using the Emile Henry and using my Pyrex loaf pan. This one looks nicer, though!
