I am so impressed with the quality and the appearance of Emile Henry Bakeware. The 9x9 Square Bakeware is one of several pieces of Emile Henry Pottery that you will find in my kitchen.
The food cooks evenly and to perfection each time I use the 9x9 Square Baker,not to mention the easy clean up. The 9x9 Square is perfect for a small family; I prepare buritoes, cornbread, brownies, meatballs and fruit cobblers in this particular piece.

You can feel that this is quality bakeware the minute you pick it up. It's heavy-weight, substantial bakeware that looks great on your table, too. Since purchasing this I have baked chicken, cakes, mac & cheese and veggie casseroles and everything turned out beautifully. Nothing sticks so clean up is very easy - no soaking needed.

This is a wonderful piece to either start or expand your kitchen bakeware collection. As mentioned before it bakes evenly and the best thing is that baking in pottery helps keep the moisture in food. Baked goods are wonderful and I use it for simple things like baking chicken with sauce, etc. If I leave something in the oven too long it does not seem to burn as in metal cookware. Emile Henry cleans like a dream with no special care, is lighter in weight and performs as well as other quality stoneware. Aesthetically it's pleasing to the eye and can be used on the table with pride. You will use this often whether you cook from scratch or use convenience foods. I recommend purchasing this, a 9 x13 size and a large oval to cover most all your oven cooking needs. A loaf pan would also make a good addition to your collection.

I own several Emile Henry pieces and love each one. This piece I use quite often. It goes in the oven, the microwave and then on the table and cleans up easily. I would recommend any Emile Henry piece for it's quality and would recommend this piece for it's usefulness.

I ordered this baker because it was less expensive than others in different colors. Mine is blue and it's a beaut! I haven't used it yet but see no flaws in the workmanship and am sure it will bake things as it is supposed to. Similar dishes clean up easily, so I expect this one will, too.

I have two of these. They are just beautiful first of all. The color is so vibrant as are all Emile's products. The ridges make this dish special looking and the little handles on both sides are just big enough to make lifting easy. They bake evenly and clean up is so easy with this stuff cuz of the glaze I guess. This is such a handy size ...not only for cakes. I use it for cornbread, brownies, casseroles, a small lasagna, and just baking miscellaneous foods. A plus is that it's so pretty that you take right to the table to serve. CHEERS for Henry!
