I totally disagree with the first two reviews. There aren't many artists around today with the same style of music. Emilia's style of music portrays the type of person she is. Her voice brings out the best of the songs. Her second album really is different but adaptive.

There is something infectious about her light style, and from the first CD, I had to try the second.
I love it. Once you fall for a singer and her voice, she usually can charm you in to another round. I am so happy I went for this one.
This is what you call "happy music". For those who are looking for a lesson from Berklee music school, try jazz.
Otherwise, her arrangements are very well matched to her style, and her voice. The instruments and background voices will entertain you over and over.

Talk about dumb luck. I found a copy of Emilia's second album in the used cd bins. Unfortunately "Emilia" is nowhere near the sugary confection of "Big Big World", nevertheless it is ear candy. I am glad though that I bought her second cd regardless of my somewhat disappointment. I enjoyed her cover of Bryan Adam's "Heaven" and "Kiss Kiss".

"big big world" was a big hit and it worked with her flimsy voice but then came flop after flop. even her studio recordings show that she cannot sing. she just proved it again in the German "comeback show" wearing something like a night gown and not hitting ANY note.
