I've been buying the Emily the Strange calendars for the past 5 years and each one makes me smile as I glance up to check the dates. Each month is littered with the various holidays with one or two derisive remarks about a particular day. It's now February so for the 14th we get "Love Me Not Day"... soon followed by the 18th, "Another Corporate Holiday - Thanx Presidents". Of course the accompanying pictures for each month are a treat as you find yourself locating each of her cats. So far it looks like 2008 is recycling some of the things I've seen in previous years but I'm still happy to have this calendar and the delightful darkness that Emily brings. I just wish I had gotten it sooner to enjoy the year from the start. Definitely a must for all Emily fans, goth-types, and lolirats.
