A Book Review,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Emily: The Emerald Fairy (Rainbow Magic: The Jewel Fairies, No. 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
Emily the Emerald Fairy by Daisy Meadows a book about two girls (Kristy and Rachel), a fairy named Emily, and Jack Frosts' goblins. These people are all in a huge toy store and some excitement is going on in the store.
This story begins with Kristy's dad dropping her and her friend Rachel off at a huge toy store. They looked at everything downstairs so they went up stairs. when they went upstairs there was some weird things going on, so Rachel said ," I think a jewel is around here." Just then Emily the Emerald fairy appeared, she said." I need to find my jewel. " Then Jack Frost's goblin came and took Emily's jewel. So the girls tried to stop him, but they couldn't . This story goes back and forth. Who do you think gets the jewel? My favorite part in the story is when the girls push Jack Frost's goblins into the elevator. I think this author wrote this book to entertain you. I would recommend this book to third through fifth grade girls.

I purchased this book for my granddaughter, along with four more of them in the same series. They arrived in perfect condition in a box that was sturdy with an inflatable packing pouch. I recommend these cute books for children within a certain reading level. However, I would not purchase them on Amazon again. Why? After paying for this item, I discovered my credit card number had been compromised and was used by a place called Home Savings Mall that made an unauthorized membership charge to my card that I didn't know about. When I called them, they told me they got my CC number and authorization from Amazon. Shame on you Amazon for selling me out for a few bucks. Customer service wouldn't do anything about it, either. BUYER BEWARE!!

She is too young to read it on her own, but our Emily adores Emily: The Emerald Fairy! How can you miss with a title like that?
Eventually, I'll give her all the adorable books in this series -- they are just so cute!

My 6-year old daughter LOVES this book. She was able to read most of it on her own. She is already asking to get the rest of the books in the series. I HIGHLY recommend!

My 7 year old daughter LOVES these books! She reads and re-reads them.
The stories are suspenseful enough to keep her going without the typical evil we see so often. Their is definately mischief represented in the book, but nothing over the top. These books kept her reading over the summer, transitioning from 1st to 2nd grade. We can't get enough of them! |
