This review is from: Emily the Strange: Seeing Is Deceiving (Hardcover)
The series of Emily books, mainly for proto-wannabe-goth girls, is a good way to approach the lifestyle before making a decision; as a middle-aged man who has been in the scene since childhood, collecting various pieces of ephemera is a good way to keep the lifestyle current; these books will be great for my kids, when the day comes when I finally have a few. Fabulous!
The 'hidden' art/words, in shades of white gloss, against white pages, stick out, next to the black artwork. Real nice. |
