black mail rocks!!!!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Emily's Black Mail Fold and Mail Stationery: Emily the Strange (Paperback)
I love this black mail stationary set, all you need to do is write, lick, fold, stamp and nap! INstructions are on the back with cat showing you how to do it. Very cute, very simple instructions, just get your pen and stamp set, then do the instructions, me and my friend Ashley write Emily's morose code with this!
Now get strange or get lost! Emily the Strange, the stranger!

I love fold and mail stationery. I actually write a lot of traditional mail, and it's very convenient for dropping a quick note to someone. Sometimes if I go over one page, I have to cut the inside pages down so the outer page can still act as an envelope, but it closes fine and have never had a problem mailing it. This set of fold and mail is particularly great because #1 - it's Emily and Emily is the best! and #2 - As with all Emily products, the graphic design is terrific. The placement of the graphics on the inside and out is well thought out and very good looking. Even the lines (the pad is ruled, great since geeks like me have no penmanship anymore) are designed to look roughly-hewn and hand-drawn. I am adding customer images for the various designs, as this is a selling point for these pads and it's frustrating not to see the designs in the product listings.
My only complaints would be that the paper stock is a little thin. This seems to be par for the course for fold and mail these days, but worth mentioning. I have to use a gel pen to avoid bleed-through, which is really important when the back is to act as an envelope! Also, a couple of the envelope back designs don't have a place for return address on the address side of the envelope, and you can't use the other side for that because it has a black design. It's a slight oversight in an otherwise incredibly well-designed package. I save these for those cases when a second page is needed, so it hasn't been a problem. This is my very favorite set of fold and mail, and I bought a second pad because I know it won't be around forever and have enjoyed using it so much. It's superfun and a great value for the price.

Ahhh...Emily strange....what can you say!
This booklet of "fold & mail" stationary is fun ~ there is something strangely appealing about Emily ... a brooding little child and her devoted black cat [equally broody!].
