I used to use La Prairie Eye Cream until it started to burn and blister the skin around my eyes. I found this eye cream at a spa and have been using it for 3 years now. Not only does it offer the right amount of hydration and has no offending scent, as well as being very safe to absorb into the skin because it is organic, I think it has taken 10 years off the look of my eyes. Dr. Oz says that anti aging skin cream actually accelerates the aging process because all the chemicals in them actually inflame the delicate skin around the eye area and I believe it. I think I was using more and more eye cream to try and compensate for more and more damage but didn't realize it until the fatal burn and blister disaster.

I just love the consistancy of this eye cream. Most eye creams are either a gel, which I do not prefer, or are very heavy and just sit ontop of the delicate skin. This is creamy yet absorbes well into the skin after a few minutes. Which allows you to gently massage the cream in, unlike the gels which just tend to go gummy or slick. The scent is very pleasant and soothing.

After Clinique discontinued not only my eye cream but my other facial favorites after 15 years, I had to go on the hunt for a new eye cream.

First, I tried Shiseido's "Benefience" eye cream. It went on nice and smooth and my skin absorbed it quickly. THEN..I woke up in the morning with wrinkles I didn't have before and blisters around my eyes. Panic sets in..! So I scoured the net researching eye creams, the best ones. I wasn't going down without a fight. I priced and searched until I read the two reviews for this eye cream on Amazon. Whew! Thanks Ladies!

I received the eye cream and immediately applied it. It has a nice soft scent, not perfumed, but incidental. My eyes loved the cream so much, I started extending it down from my eyes over the next couple of days, all the way down to my cheekbones. The cream firmed up the area and left everything hydrated.

The wonderful aspect of this cream and the other Eminence products I've tried, is that you can customize the thickness of the cream by adding a drop of water. If you have smaller pores as I do, you may need to thin the cream just a touch. Or, you can apply thicker at night. Either way, you won't be disappointed with this cream. Hours later your skin will still be soft!

On a side note, who doesn't appreciate a product that is completely organic, and isn't loaded with a number of chemicals with fancy names that we haven't a clue what they do? (Good or bad!) Since 1958, it is still around for a reason, and seems to be holding up against the test of time!
