Before laying down the thirteen songs for his unlifting debut album, Emmanuel Carella had a total of forty songs written, but he culled through them to get the best tunes out to the world. My prediction is girls are going to love him, and guys are going to admire him for this tremendous achievement. This album really speaks for itself and I have good reason to love it. Emmanuel Carella might be new to the music world, but he is well known to some. Fortunately for me he isn't new to me making me an ideal reviewer of this product.
In 1999 Emmanuel Carella made headlines when his girlfriend Rachel Barber vanished and later was discovered murdered by the hands of a female babysitter who had a cruel plot. He's been through trying times you'll discover if you read about his past in the true crime book 'Perfect Victim'. After reading and loving this moving book in 2002 I wanted to know more. To see where everyone was now. So for anyone who wishes to know about his past, and the girl he loved and still must, this book comes highly recommended by me. I have no doubt these young lovers would have been married now, if it hadn't been for the life-changing event in that book. In 2003 Emmanuel made a comment about his past and this event. ``It is something that did happen, and I have moved on. Now I write about who I am today,''
After years of research into that book and finding existing articles I finally came across this compact disc released in 2005. 'EMMANUEL' has been four years in the making and the outcome after that time is very promising for him.
I am certain there is a link to the past and the girl he loved in 'RUN TO YOU' or even '2BEAUTIFUL', but even if there isn't they are still really beautiful songs. For interests sake, this is what he says about 'RUN TO YOU' "I'd had the lyrics for a while, it was something I'd been wanting to express for a long time. It's a very emotional song, about reassuring someone you love that you'll always be there for them, through good times and bad. It's about not being afraid to show your emotions, and always speaking the truth."
A lot could also be said about the awesome track 'Don't Say A Word', but I'll leave it up to Emmanuel to explain. Emmanuel has certainly done so much already in his past, and with this album has such a bright future I can't wait to follow where his career leads him. If you are lucky enough to own the singles to this album you'll have even more reason to own this album. It was a very special find for me and I wouldn't be without it. I will always keep this compact disc close to my heart along with the book. I hope you all do too. I feel honoured to add it to my collection.
