This DVD was an improvement over First Contact. It has more humor and best of all more Krista Allen. People who were disappointed with FC because Krista Allen was hardly in it will love this DVD because she's featured quite a lot in this one.

I know of at least 4 scenes that appear on this DVD that I've seen bouncing around the internet and there are even more KA scenes on this disk.

Of course this video is a continuation of the story started in FC. Emanuelle is helping a group of aliens try to understand sex and love. The quirky humor that was in the first one is even better on this DVD. I also thought there was a more coherent story that makes its point clearly at the end.

The only extras on this disk are bare bones ones. There are bios for some of the cast and Roger Corman. The "trailer" for the film and for a couple of others by the same company are included.

OK, just so you know, I am not at all recommending this as a serious piece of entertainment or art. It's softcore porn. It's lurid trash. The acting is wooden. There is no plot. It's just sex-in-space. Oh, and it's stupid.

That said, this is really, really a lot of fun. My friend Jenipher and I used to call each other every night it was on Skinemax and completely make fun of it.

Krista Allen, who played Billie on "Days of Our Lives" and Girl with Big Breasts in Jim Carrey's "Liar Liar," is a hoot as Emmanuelle, the singular-named sex aficianado at the center of these stories. Before this series opened, Emmanuelle was the sort of character who seemed to have sex with every straight dumb beefcake addicted to his Soloflex on Earth.

Apparently aware that she'd run out of men and willing women on this planet, this series, titled "Emmanuelle in Space" (which comes complete with the worst TV theme song ever written), begins as Emmanuelle is kidnapped by aliens. Seriously. And the porn-star-looking aliens, and in particular their boneheaded, beefcake spaceship captain Haffron, want her to teach them about the joys of sex. And she does. Over and over and over again. For, like, 15 episodes ... all featuring that dumb theme song.

Whether you think she's talented or not, and I think she is, Krista Allen is lots of fun as an actress. She has a sense of humor about herself, an actual ability to act and deliver lines well. (See her in "Anger Management." She's hysterical.) And she looks absolutely great, which even I noticed and I'm gay. (For those who wondered why I was watching this, it was campy, after midnight and I was bored. Oh, and Haffron is really really good looking.)

Anyway, yeah, it's trash. But it's fun trash.

Krista Allen is indeed a knockout, and you do get to see a decent amount of her in this movie. Most of the other actresses are very attractive as well. All of them did really well with their orgasms. There were about three good sex scenes. The rest were just okay.

This movie could have been something really memorable though. All the sex scenes needed to be longer and filmed better (I HATE that "merry-go-round" technique). There were several times where Krista should have been completely nude, but she's partially clothed. The dialogue and plot were really, really bad, and much less time should have been wasted on them. Oh, and the opening theme is without a doubt the most laughably bad song I have ever heard in my life.

In case you are wondering they fixed the first disk (First Contact) to be the real deal (unrated) in the set. all others are similar to disk 2 which has been out for a while as a single. Not quite as good as the Eros Collections from Playboy but entertaining.

"Emmanuelle in Space" is a great collection, witty, imaginative and it stars Krista Allen. That's enough. She is able and capable of saving any movie in the world.

While this collection is not the best science-fiction epic of all times, it is better than one would expect. After all, we are dealing with soft-core. However, this is a serious effort by a group of dedicated people.

Krista Allen is more than beautiful: she's a marvel of Nature, a total goddess. One thing to add: at her side, Pamela Anderson appears like a so-so-looking, prude virgin.

Krista takes her Emmanuelle character seriously and seems to have a lot of fun with it. That's very enjoyable too. She's not a dumb actress exploiting her looks. Her work is remarkable. But mostly, I would say every real, hot-blooded male should buy this collection because it's not only unique, it's exceptional. Forget all negatives, Krista is the thing to see.

By the way, she did appear in one episode of "The X-files" and she was sensational.

Currently, Krista Allen appears as herself in the popular HBO series "Unscripted." As usual, she does a great job.

I should mention her co-star in this collection, Paul Michael Robinson. He is a very good actor and a great conterpart to Krista's character. Both are a joy to watch and there is a lot of good humor in the script.

Go ahead and buy it. This collection is wonderful!

I had earlier bought Emmanuelle: first Contact, expecting a movie with Krista Allen, but I was sorely disappointed. The DVD, however, was great. Krista Allen plays a large part in the movie, and though the story is weak at times, the great scenes more than make up for the downfalls. If you are looking for a great Emmanuelle movie, this is it.

Krista Allen is a very very beautiful woman..watching her on screen, and especially in a DVD format, is a feast to your eyes. Watching her in the Emmanuelle series, in very intimate scenes with actors of both gender, and it becomes a must buy!!
Don't bother with the plot or storyline, it is lame at best, and buy this collection for Krista Allen alone, and you will not be disappointed!

There is only one answer to the question above. And that is Why not! There are gorgeous lushcious beautiful creatures absolutely nude in this series, off all reasons here is the top reason....

I honestly didn't buy this movie for any other reason than for Krista Allen. The movie plot is as ridiculous as all the 'Emmanuelle' series (except for the 1st), but the scenary is beautiful. The camera caught not only the beauty of it's star, but as well as it's locations. Most of the places that were used (Europe) gave it's beauty to the movie. Let's face it...this movie is more of a guilty pleasure than a Oscar hopeful, but once you look beyond it's sensuality you could see a good look through the camera's eye.

I didn't know what to expect from this film, but it was quite erotic and titillating. In this movie Emmanuelle and crew go to all parts of the world to experience sexual pleasure to explore the various interpretations of eroticism.
This is better suited to couples wanting to get in the mood.
