How can I describe the effect that reading this book has had on me?

Imagine dropping a pebble into a still pond sending ripples out into eternity. Then imagine the moon being dropped it! It has rocked my world to its foundations.

Reading it ignited a major spiritual awakening and shift in my world view. The language is simple, beautiful and clear, and the insights tore through my heart and soul like thunder. It is so beautifully and lovingly written that the words took my breath away. I felt as though Emmanuel was speaking directly to my heart... the words penetrated to the deepest parts of me, resonating and echoing. I can't count the number of times I was brought to tears or catapulted into bliss while reading it. The blinders were suddenly whipped away and light flooded in. The universe suddenly became much brighter, safer, and loving... so much more loving.

Emmanuel's Book also opened me up to investigating other channeled writing. The deepest, wisest, and highest quality material I have ever encountered was channeled. Another equally impactful (though they affected me in a different way from how Emmanuel did) series of books are written by Sanaya Roman. Another excellent series is "Conversations with God" (Books I and II) by Neale Donald Walsch- these cover similar ground to Emmanuel. I feel that CWG and Emmanual's books complement each other wonderfully.

Emmanuel's Book is one of my most treasured books and will always hold a very special place in my heart. It is one of my most often recommended books (others being "Living With Joy" by Sanaya Roman and "Conversations with God") to my friends and I will now unreservedly recommend it to you. May it bring you as much joy as it brought me...

Emmanuel's Book is one of extraordinary insight, love and gentleness. Emmanuel's message is so simple, empowering, beautiful, loving, funny, and so totally forgiving that I can consciously feel the grace of this most beautiful light... You must be prepared to believe in your own profound goodness to read this book. Time and time again I have come to tears of joy whilst reading it..

With every topic covered, from our original 'fall from grace' or forgetting of our own divinity, to complete awakening or 'dying' and returning to that grace, this book will prompt you to remember that we live in a meaningful, forgiving, and loving universe.

Emmanuel's words have long served as a faithful reminder of my inner potential and innate goodness, such as no friend, family, or lover ever has in my life. With all my heart I recommend Emmanuel's Book to souls seeking the highest and most loving Angelic wisdom.

After a long search for true wisdom, this book was the pure gold at the end of the rainbow. If you were to read only one such book this should be it.

Emmanuel's books are some of the best books I have found. They contain real, deep spiritual truths. They present a vision of humanity and God which is totally compassionate and loving. The question is not whether these books are true. The question is whether you are ready for this truth? Many similar books are hard to digest, but this series is not. Emmanuel means "God with us," and God is truly in this series. I strongly recommend this series if you are a seeker of Truth like me.

The simplicity of the incredible wisdom imparted in the book's pages is food for the hungriest soul. It changed - and sustained - my life for ever. It helped me raise two children lovingly and sensitively, it has seen me through the darkest hours of my life, it has soothed my spirit. All three Emmanuel books have become my "bibles". There is so much gentleness and truth in Emmanuel's words that one cannot help but feel the connectedness with All That Is. If every home has but one book, it must be one of the Emmanuel books. I am certain that allowing Emmanuel's words to flow through us and heal our sad/stressed/angry/searching hearts would bring an end to war and violence on our planet. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Emmanuel, for coming into my life.

It would be a pity if the comments of a person who did not even read the book discouraged you from reading it! The negative review is a misrepresentation of the contents of the book.

Fear says, "Put me in a house with a roof and locks on my door and I will believe I am safe for a moment." When you are loving, you are under the open sky and possibilities are infinite. There are no guarantees. From the viewpoint of fear none are strong enough. From the view point of love, none are necessary.

Fear is only a teacher on your planet. Your schoolroom is always held within the hands of Perfect Love ---Fear has emptied out its bag of tricks: nuclear destruction, genocide, cancer , AIDS, torture, and still there is the human heart that seeks to know love. What you do love to do, you do well. What you do well will earn you money. If there is not a formal occupation that honors your vision, then I would say it's about time you took your creative power and designed a job for yourself. WHAT BRINGS "YOU JOY WILL BRING YOU ABUNDANCE.

Emmanuel's wisdom, and simplicity bring a sage's awareness into everyday living. This book puts YOU in charge of your mind soul yet reminds you that you are never alone, never judged or punished, and can never make a mistake. If this review makes you wonder what I could be talking about, just pick up the book and open to any page. You will love it.

I found this book while browsing at the local library in the philosphy, religion section. I live in a community of less than 20,000 people, so our library has a very limited selection. I read it and enjoyed it so much I extended my check out time by a month. Eventually, I gave it to a friend, and ended up paying the library for it. I just discovered it was available through Amazon.com. I am glad I read it cold before I saw the labels "new age" and "warmed over medieval christianity". This book should be read and mulled over, resisting all impulses to judge, ridicule, or eulogize the subject matter. I enjoyed it immensely and highly recommend it.

I majored in theology and philosphy and have studied the various religions for 30 years. Emmanuel finnally ended the search. The content is accurate and enlightening. His insight and wisdom provide a "crib sheet" for life's journey. Read all of the books. A nice companion to "Seat of the Soul"

I have read and re-read these books and it seems like I learn something new each time I do. I highly recommended them to anyone that wants to learn more about the interaction between spiritual and physical world.

The 'method' of authorship of this book is sometimes referred to as 'channeling', although it must be noted the quality and variety of material claiming to be 'channeled' does vary enormously. The final 'proof' of anything can only be in its usefulness to the growth of the individual. I can only vouch that this book has served me like no other.

The word Emmanuel means 'God is with us', and if you are a soul who finds meaning and faith in the deeper reality of love, then you too may find your own divinity reflected back to you in this book.

This first Emmanuel's book is particularly striking to me in its comprehensive clarity, insight, and compassion for the human condition. The words speak directly to my humanity from the knowing light I once experienced in a 'Near Death like' experience. Emmanuel presents 'himself' as a 'spiritual entity', a being of light who has completed a whole round of incarnations on earth. He has an extraordinary depth of compassion and appreciation for the duality of human condition. One example: 'He' has a distinctly human appreciation of irony and humor, something other 'spiritual entities' may lack if they have not spent (valuable) time in the human realm.

Emmanuel's Books are presented in a question and answer format. There are few exercises as such, other than inspirations to question suffering, darkness, fear and guilt, and constant reminders of the eternal validity of love - of Self - of truth.

I have been deeply grateful for Emmanuel's wisdom in my life. Very highly recommended.
