5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun Book for Parents and Children!, June 3, 2000

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Emma's Vacation (Hardcover)
Emma the bear and her parents are going on vacation. But mom and dad want to be tourists. Emma asks to hike a mountain near their rickety cabin, but dad drives. After a day at the speedy burger, a boat ride, tour bus, train ride and carnival rides, Emma refuses to leave the cabin again. She shows her parents how to take pleasure from a mountain stream, berry picking, tree climbing and story telling. The book's humerous tone with engaging artwork (the speedy burger restaurant is a giant burger!) entertains, while the storyline gentley reminds us a better way to spend our time.

5.0 out of 5 stars One can never have enough books with your daughter's name!, August 9, 2004
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a really cute board book and also because my daughter's name is Emma! The story is about a family going on vacation and doing all the things you do on your vacation.... rush here, do this, do that... and everything but relaxing. Emma is very smart and sugguests her family takes a day to enjoy their surroundings! That's something we all need to do is to Stop and smell the roses!"

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, September 23, 2005
I truly enjoy reading Emma's Vacation. Both of my girls love to hear all of the Emma stories. This book is especially nice for both kids and adults. It helps remind us that we don't have to go the whole ten yards on everything we do for our children. Often times they enjoy and prefer simpler things, like splashing in the water and having a picnic. A must for families always on the go!
