This is the cd single that features remixes of the huge club single "Emotional Rollercoaster". The original version is more in line with Erykah Badu then Madonna but then a remix hit never hurt anyone. This cd features Awesome remix by Junior Vasquez. His Earth Anthem Mix(10:37) is one of his best mixes in quite some time. It is a mixture of deep and aggressive house and yet entwined with a touch of trance. The next mix is the That Kid Chris mix(8:53) and this too is quite good. It is a little more mainstream but could work the harder club rooms too. His best work since his wonderful mix of Marc Anthony. The next mix is by Above & Beyond. Their mix (9:35) is Euro Trance/House and it is sooooo well done it is scary. Almost as good as their mix of Perpetous Dreamer "The Sound Of Violence". Finally there is the Rob Rives Dub mix(6:58) and that is good but it is a dub. This song is one of a woman who is tired of being lead along by her partner and wants something better. A great collection of remixes especially by Mr. Vasquez. Beautiful. Already a #1 club hit.

When Vivian Green came along in the music industry, it was a complete reminder of how popular Soul music seems to be in the industry. For the past few years, the whole R&B format became more about Rap and Hip Hop, and lacking what Soul is all about. When I heard Emotional Rollercoaster, I thought it was unlike anything I've ever heard. It is just a beautiful song worth listening to over and over again. The melody and its video really collided together, and showcased a dazzling rhythm. I wonder what she is going to pull out of the hat next. I can't wait to find out.

You simply have to buy this CDS for that one particular mix. Junior's mix is not trance and not too agressive as you may have read - a progressive house mix well suited for big room play. A bit too much bass was used but you can cut it and boost the other frequencies. I like the Above & Beyond Mix too although it's a TRANCE mix. Starts a bit dark but later it's just trance - no cheese though. The Dub is nothing special - i don't understand what it's doing here. More like an instrumental - a house dub i'd call it. That Kid Chris Mix is progressive house and seems similar to Junior's but has no energy - not a big room sounding. Overall a must have for the Junior Vasquez Earth Anthem Mix.

Why is it that record companies will just try to have an artist ride high on one song? This IS a great song (hence the 4-star rating), but it's just overplayed. Her whole album is good, so why won't her label release another song off it, or a COUPLE songs, even? (For more examples of what I mean, see also Kem and Kindred the Family Soul.)

This girl's Cd is a must have in your collection. I love this girls style of music. Her voice is full and beautiful. She controls it well. She's going to be around for awhile. She's so versatile with her voice. Go on girl :)
