A must buy. Burr is on point the whole time. You'll laugh until it hurts.I passed it around to a bunch of my co-workers and they all came by my office later to tell me how much they loved it. Everyone was reciting parts of the routine for weeks.

This stand-up comedy CD is absolutely amazing. I saw Bill Burr for the first time on one of those cable comedy mixes (Gotham mix) and immediately went to look for more. Can't wait for the DVD to come out later this year. You should also check out his myspace page where he posted some funny observations on renovating the kitchen :)))) If you are concerned about explicit language, Bill Burr is not for you. If you are looking for great laughs and unique delivery, get his CD (or MP3 version). You will be glad you did.

Bill Burr delivers one of the best stand-up routines I have ever heard! This performance in Philadelphia is culturally accurate, intelligent, insightful, brash, honest and of course tremendously funny! From women's lib to the ridiculousness of the political correctness movement to solutions to the so-called war on terror, Burr will have you laughing almost non-stop. He is clearly one of the best and least known comedians around. If I had to criticize one thing it would be that he left out his material on why he can't have black friends. If there were a dvd of a performance of his, I would buy it immediately! Does anyone know when he'll be in DC?

Bill Burr is amazing and so is this CD. Buy this and everything else he has out. You won't be disappointed. I've seen him live once at Zanie's in Chicago. The entire room was on the floor in tears the whole time.

I always appreciate when a comedian can tailor his material to each town, or better yet write new stuff. It ain't easy, but when it works it shows real talent. Burr opens this Philly set with a couple very nice bits about their subways and their food, and the bits are truly funny, with that freshness that only new material can bring.

Burr comes off as a very likable fellow, his delivery is relaxed, and he's got lots of very good lines and ideas here, but the highlight has got to be his dealing with hecklers at the end of Grandma. Without doubt this is one of the best examples on record of how to cope with idiots and yet keep the crowd on your side. Burr is completely on his toes and gets in some really sweet ad lib stuff; pretty classic.

All in all, this is an excellent routine that makes me laugh every time I hear it, no mean feat for a comedy cd.

........then pick up this album or pretty much any Bill Burr album. his take on gender differences, race humor, and his general thought process are hiliarious.

Bill Burr is one of my favorite comedians, and this album did not disappoint. granted, the noise in the background was a bit obnoxious at times (at times, you can hear the sound of credit card machine printing out a receipt), but you can get past it quite easily. i highly recommend this album to anyone who claims to be a fan of Bill, but be sure to check out his other stuff, as well as his "monday morning podcast" on iTunes!

Just saw Bill for the 2nd time live at a small club in St.Charles.All new material.My face was sore from my frozen smile and laughter ALL show.The material on this CD is pretty old but still funny as ever.Hes supposed to have a DVD coming out this summer.Go to his website and check out his HBO special(wish it was on DVD).This guy cracks me up and feeds off the audience.Check it out!

I watched Bill Burr's "Why Do I Do This" standup performance and could not stop laughing so I decided to check out his earlier comedy routines -- uh, you know how they say wine gets better with age? well, the same goes for comedy. Bill Burr's "Why Do I Do This" is WAY funnier than this. If you still wanna get this, then just get a used CD and don't bother wasting five more dollars on a new one.
