About the Author

Robert Rasberry has long held an interest in career planning. As a professor of Management and Organizations, in the Cox School of Business, at Southern Methodist University, he teaches leadership, ethics and management. He takes an active role in counseling students regarding their career choices. As a former director of Communication Services, in the Cox School, he and his associates developed career materials and gave personal feedback on resume development. As a trainer and consultant his popular seminar "Finishing Strong" has encouraged executives to find a healthy connection between job and family conflicts, and to create balance between success and significance. To undergraduates still active in job and career preparation his advice is: "Don’t major on your minor talents. Discover your strengths, perfect them and success will follow."
