This is one of those rare albums that you'll keep forever because with every listen you'll discover a new element to enjoy. When I first heard the dark, rich beats and compelling melodies I thought it was the perfect album to elevate you to meditative heights. It is. But after hearing it several times I discovered this album is much more than that; it's a perfect balance of minimalism and sophistication. The complexity enhances rather than weakens its delicate melodic content. This is a beautiful and crafty achievement from The Moontrane Conductors. I recommend this album to all music fans. Buy it now!

I love this CD. "Never the Sun" is my favorite. Great vocals! It is refreshing to have some new and different music to listen to, just to hang out with. Some of the tracks sound like they could be the background to some movies. Bring us more Moontrane!! My friends and I are interested in hearing more!!

When I first listened to this CD, It felt familiar, but not in a played-out way. It has been in my shuffle for some time now and everytime it comes on I find something else to draw me in. It feels warm and doesn't have any unnecessary hype to it. These tracks have a timeless quality to them which makes me think that Empty Sea will be around for the duration.

I've yet to talk to anyone who has heard Empty Sea / The Moontrane Conductors who didn't want to hear more! I think the train has left the station for these guys!

Tired of the same old sound? Try this beautiful and unusual sound from Moontrane. I loved this CD the moment I heard it at a friend's house party and I would highly recommend it.

This cd is very cool. I haven't heard anything like it. Very intrigued to hear more.

I heard a couple of tracks in MP3 format and liked them a lot, but I've been caught out buying CDs from this so I was not expecting too much. BUT from the moment I pressed play to the last note I was most taken. Sure the stand out tracks are the two downloadables but the whole CD is better than the sum of the parts. Each track has its own identity and groove. Interesting arrangements typify each track and you find youself going back and finding more each time you play them. Also this CD benifits from being played LOUD on a decent Hi-Fi (something MP3s can't hack). Buy it you won't be sorry.

Great sound, eerie and haunting. I seem to be listening to this one over and over. I have played it at parties and everyone raves about it.

Loved this CD-this music is soothing, melodic and moving. I find it easy to listen to when working, relaxing and driving. Everyone that I played it to loves it! Hopefully there will be more wonderful music from Moontrane Conductors.

I was enthralled by the enchantment of the music, the sounds were smooth and flowing. It is refreshing to hear the sounds and lyrics of "Empty Sea" by Moontrane Conductors. I would like to hear more of this type of music. A fan of Moontrane Conductors.
