these are indestructable and you want them!--but they are $39.99 for sixty feet total length (60') at hardware stores; home depot and menards --may be special order --not always in stock. These are 6" per section and manageable--don't buy imitations.

Quality Edging April 19, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought two boxes last year and found out that this was a great product. I found them at Amazon and ordered another 120'. They are easy to use and add a little punch to outline my flower beds. Easy to trim around. They haven't lost their color and if you change your mind you can pull them back out. I have used these extensively in my front and back flower beds and I am an avid gardener. Good product, good quality. I am very pleased.

Hee Haw Would Love Em March 7, 2011

Nice, sturdy for plastic, thought they were going to be metal for some reason. Easy to hammer in when the soil is wet, some of the choppers would turn sideways still, and I had to go back and re-hammer. Sometimes, the loop connectors would disconnect too, and it was hard to pull the choppers back out of the ground once they have been pounded in.

Some may think they look cheap, luckily I am trying to use them as a grass (Bermuda) barrier for my garden. Seems to be three ways to install. The first is to link them together first, the entire row, then try hammering them in- impossible. The second is to do them one piece at a time- too time consuming. The third, and best way I found, is to put two or three together then try hammering the set together.

All in all, not a bad purchase for the price.
