The best cooker I've used so far,
I like this cooker, however, you have to fidget with the cook times and positioning of the bacon for it to work well. I cook a lot of bacon every so often for job breakfast potlucks. It advertises that you can cook 14 pieces at a time. I find that cooking 14 slices takes twice as long as the instructions indicate and the slices are so close together that they tend to stick together as they cook. I like crispy bacon so instead of 14 minutes, I had to cook the bacon for at least 20-25 minutes to get the bacon crispy. I finally decided to cut back and I only put 7-8 slices in the cooker with a space between each slice to cut down on the sticking together. So, now I cook the bacon for about 13 minutes and it seems to work really well.

important limitations for bacon wave,
This review is from: Emson Bacon Wave, Microwave Bacon Cooker (Kitchen)
I liked my first one so much that I bought 5 more for Christmas gifts. Then my nephew tried to cook 14 strips. The result was a meltdown. The box says you can cook 28 (2 trays) at one time. I melted the skewers and started to melt the tray while attempting to cook 7 pieces of thick cut. My microwave is 1200 watts. I have since learned that if your microwave is more than 800 watts you must adjust the power and cook at a lower setting (another product recommended 80% power) to avoid problems. I like it so much that I am going to order another and use it carefully.I recommend when cooking more than one tray make sure the tray has cooled down between times. Brumby McGehee

Best Thing To Use For Sliced Bacon! I Love This Bacon Wave.,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I had one of these Bacon Waves and literally wore it out. I used it for at least ten years until all the upright prongs fell off. The bacon slices stay uniformly flat and do not curl, like they would using a conventional glass pan in the microwave or open skillet frying. Eliminating the grease is easy by tilting the Wave and pouring excess drippings into a container or discarding it.
To clean the Wave: pour off the grease immediately after using, place in hot soapy water to soak (brush if necessary) and then put into diswasher. I just ordered two more of these Bacon Wave cooking trays and hope Amazon never runs out of these amazing Bacon Waves. Thanks, Amazon, for always having the items I need.
