These shells are some of the best quality eggs we have seen and we have a good supply. They have been sanitized and are clean, ready to be worked. The eggs are about 5" long and 3" in diameter with a shell thickness of about 1/16". A small 1/4" hole is in one end. They are a deep green on the outside and they gradually go lighter green and then white as you carve deeper into the shell. We recommend using the Powercrafter tool.

I bought these to make jewelry boxes out of and they were fantastic. They do have a largish hole in the bottom, but other then that just as pictured. Just remember if you are going to carve it, do it outside and wear a mask because the dust can still have bacteria in it.
