This is Rey's best album and one you can listen to from beginning to end very easily. "El Rey Del Mundo", "Duele", "Vuelve De Nuevo Conmigo" and the simply gorgeous "Esatamos Solos" were all huge hits that (deservedly) propelled this CD to platinum status. Rey has often been compared to singers like Jerry Rivera, Luis Enrique and Victor Manuelle (all of whom have enjoyed greater popularity and stronger sales than Rey) but Rey comes off as a far more soulful and convincing singer. Great songs, superb arrangements and production AND a great singer make this CD a real treat!

I got into Latin music--in Spanish--years ago after listening to albums of Luis Miguel & Gloria Estefan. After hearing Rey's other album, MI MEDIA MITAD, I wanted to hear more of him. Looking up his discography on the internet, I found out that this album is considered to be his best by critics. I was not disappointed. He is outstanding in his voice & delivery, backed up by a chorus of singers now and then that does not overwhelm, and the orchestra is great with enough brass, piano (& other instruments I don't know the names of) too. Very enjoyable cd if you want to hear some salsa to get on your feat & feel good or if you want to hear some heartfelt romantic tunes too. I waited about a year to get this cd--it was often unavailabe or too pricey. (While I paid more for it than I want to admit, the cd was in brand new condition with all the artwork.) A must have for fans of Rey Ruiz.

This bloke keeps getting better, but this CD is a classic. Every track is a winner, the artist that got me hooked on Salsa foever

Great salsa music...this is one of the CDs in my collection that I seem to always reach for. One word of caution though, if you have several other Rey Ruiz CDs, they tend to all have the same sound. However, if I had to choose one, this would be it. ENJOY!
