"EN VIVO DESDE EL CARNEGIE HALL" ES SIN DUDA ALGUNA EL MEJOR DISCO GRABADO EN VIVO DE 1999, LA SELECCION DE EXITOS, LOS EXELENTES ARREGLOS, LA CALIDAD DE LOS MUSICOS Y LA VOZ DE DANNY RIVERA , LO HACEN UN DISCO DE COLECCION, FELICIDADES DANNY.

Danny Rivera is one of the most sensitive and refined singers of Latin America. This concert gives the listener the opportunity to appreciate his musicianship, vocal and expressive qualities, which have remained intact throughout his impeccable career. There is no greater proof of a performer's success than watching a full-house audience sing along with him almost every word of his repertoire. This was one of the highlights of this magnificent concert in Carnegie Hall. Although it is impossible to single out a "favorite" in the program, especially moving were Mi viejo, Odiame, Amar o morir, Libre, and Tu pueblo, which is a latin american classic, and, in my opinion, comparable to Beethoven's Ode to Joy, suitable for a grand finale. Bravo Danny!

Pocos cantantes pueden ofrecer un concierto de dos horas en tal escenario. De hecho, el podria hacer dos conciertos diferentes en tal lugar y ahi son aun menos los que podrian. Cátedra de canto. Bueno que más se puede decir, su padre es de Ponce: la Ciudad de los Cantantes!

The interaction and chemistry between Danny Rivera and his public is felt throughout the whole recording. Danny Rivera demonstrates he has one of the warmest, richest voices in the latin american music scene, his mastery of different rhythms and styles can be appreciated in this wonderful recording.
