It works via car or wall socket, charging battery just fine. The battery does not click in tight as with Nikon's charger and this may bother some. The light does not seem to clearly indicate when charge is complete, but it charges battery just fine.

Its really worth for the price I paid; works good on home/car socket, pretty decent quality make. On the -ve side, it gets over heated.

But overall it will not disappoint you at all.

I bought this as a replacement battery charger for my husband's Nikon CoolPix S51 camera. It works just like the original battery charger and charges the battery up to full power. It was for a cheap price and was a great investment.

When I lost my charger I was thinking I had to go through the manufacturer. Was I wrong this product works great and what a price.

I had searched for a battery charger for my daughters camera, finally found one at a great price and it shipped quickly. My daughter now can use her camera again. Thank you.

The battery charger is not only cheap but works well. I thought it was awesome that I received it in the mail the same week I ordered it.

first time this charged worked fine i went to use it after the first charge and.... ...fail. you get what you pay for i guess so if your looking to only use it once highly reccomended other wise be very wary of this product it is horrible and will fail on you. do not buy

Bought this for my girlfriend for a vacation, and it worked like a champ. No complaints from her about it, and that makes it a great purchase in my opinion.

I have always opted to buy the more expensive chargers but recently my Panasonic charger failed after only about a year. I thought I would try one of these very reasonably priced chargers and it has held up just fine. Great buy!

Alright, so I haven't used the car charger part of this product yet, but I can tell you that I really enjoy the wall portion if it =) It's worked great thus far and I've already used it multiple times--And so has a friend of mine for a trip that she took, and she didn't say that she had any problems. So that's a plus ;) And as far as the length of the hold on the charge, I'd say that it's pretty good. I haven't timed it to a T yet, but it keeps for as long as I need it to. ;)So I would say its pretty great. Oh, and I also like the fact that the plug-in part of it folds into the back if it-makes it easier for traveling/packing purposes. I Really, Thoroughly enjoy that part of it (maybe even better than the fact that it charges batteries ;)). So yeah, that's what I've got to say about it; hope it helps. :D
