5.0 out of 5 stars The whole family is seeing benefits!
I'd never heard of a water ionizer until about 6 weeks ago. A friend heard I had a dog with cancer, called me up, and said I should come by and pick up some water that she makes with a machine. Her family had been drinking it for about 5 months, and it had helped her Crohn's disease immensely.

Since the prognosis for my dog was so poor, I figured it was...

1.0 out of 5 stars Scam - one star is too many
Any research will show water machines of this type do basically nothing. The "ionized water" nonsense has been around for a while and this is the latest version. I am suprised Amazon offers products of this type especially at this outlandish price. This is a rip off of major proportions.

5.0 out of 5 stars The whole family is seeing benefits!, March 7, 2009

I'd never heard of a water ionizer until about 6 weeks ago. A friend heard I had a dog with cancer, called me up, and said I should come by and pick up some water that she makes with a machine. Her family had been drinking it for about 5 months, and it had helped her Crohn's disease immensely.

Since the prognosis for my dog was so poor, I figured it was worth a try. So, I started getting water from my friend and giving it to my dog. Since I was skeptical, I figured I should drink it myself to be sort of the "control" subject. Anyway, after about 3 days of drinking the water I realized my mood was markedly improved. I couldn't understand why I was in such a good mood when my dog was dying.

After about a week, I decided to buy a machine. I wasn't happy at all with the price tag, but I didn't want to experiment with machines.

Since drinking the water, my husband has noticed improved mood and energy. He has increased the frequency of his workouts, and is recovering much more easily.

My dog is doing very well. She is also taking herbs and medicinal mushrooms, so I don't know which thing is doing the trick. But, I'm sure the water is helping.

Anyway, this is a great product (although, I do wish it was cheaper). I paid $3980, so I'm not sure why its more expensive on this web site.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enagic Ionizer Great Product, March 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Enagic Kangen Water Leveluk SD501 Water Ionizer Machine (Electronics)
I have had the Enagic SD501 Ionizer for about a month and am very pleased with the unit. It was extremely easy to set up and start producing fantastic tasting alkaline water. I have never enjoyed drinking water as much as I do now. In my Chiropractic office I have all my patients use the water as well and have seen some interesting benefits. Making myself and my patients feel better is a great asset of having the SD501 while at the same time I'm finding an unexpected reward. This water is doing wonders for our pets! I have two Golden Retrievers that have had numerous skin and joint problems that have been helped tremendously by using the Enagic water. Other patients claim their pets have shown a definite increase in their energy levels while using this water. All in all I am very impressed so far!

My wife just returned from a dinner lecture/sales pitch for Kangen Water. She was ready to "sell the farm" for this wonderful stuff. I mean, who doesn't want to be healthier and slimmer with just drinking water! A little research (Google: skeptic kangen water) revealed a very good critique posted 02-03-2009 on the website Skeptoid. I would encourage anyone considering this product to visit this and other sites. Personally, I work to hard to throw money away on something unproven. A 5 gallon bottle of Ozarka Spring Water is about $7.00 (with $7.00 deposit). That is much better than $3,700.00. Behind most of this is a pyramid type scheme to sell this to your friends and neighbors. They may not like you much when the stuff does not work. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is!
