ENCHANTED HEART is the third book in a series about the feuding Heart
family, once the owners of a chain of department stores, Heart Federated.
Because of a much maligned buyout, orchestrated by family shareholders
they are a family linked by bloodline only. This story centers on the
controversial bad boy, Lance Heart Smith, and also reacquaints readers
with family members from previous books.

Lance is not a direct heir to the Heart's fortune, but the provisions
in the will were more than sufficient to support his flamboyant lifestyle.
He is a playboy who loves fast cars, fast women and short commitments;
Lance is a study in complicated relationships. The heroine of the story,
Viveiene La Fontaine, is a seductress in her own right, but for the
moment she has no time for relationships. Her focus is on expanding her
lingerie boutique, 'Guilty Pleasures', and supporting her twin sister.
Additionally, there is a secret hovering over the two sisters, which
makes intimacy on a permanent basis almost impossible for either of
them.

Viv and Lance meet at their college reunion in Boston and Lance is
amazed that they attended the same university but had never met. He is
equally surprised to learn they reside only a few miles apart in
Hampton Roads, Virginia. Under the guise of investing in her boutique,
Lance arranges a meeting. Even though they have their own agendas,
both are surprised by the dynamics of their meeting. As they float in
and out of each other's space, the connection between them intensifies.
Will the family secrets from their respective pasts bring unwanted
attention and destroy the connection that is brewing?

As the key characters align their lives, Felicia Mason skillfully
injects her secondary characters to enhance this story. There are
also secondary stories at play here, but they all flow into one
melting pot and come to a simmering and surprising crescendo. This
is a wonderful closure to the tumultuous dynasty of the Heart family.

Enchanted Heart was my first read by Felicia Mason. This romance novel was a little different than my regular romance reads. Unlike other fictitious romance novels, this one was parallel to true life. Her characters were well developed. The multi-storylined novel had me confused at first. Once I understood, the story flowed.

If you are looking for a great read, you will not be disappointed.

I came sum this book up in three words: STUPID, STUPID & STUPID

Dumb characters that were never fully developed, idiotic dialogue that simply doesn't make sense, and utterly poor, ridiculous story line.

And not to mention that the book was totally predictable. I figured out how the book was going to end after I finished reading chapter 1.

I really wish author's would put more thought into their work. Author's are not merely writers, they're business people. Their books represent their product, and if they want me as a customer to keep buying their product, they have to produce "QUALITY" work.

Felicia Mason cannot keep slapping meaningless words together on sheets of paper and expecting the public to buy a poor product.
