I bought this book on a hunch, thinking it looked like fun. Turned out to be even better than I expected. The writing is superb, really polished plot and characters. The ideas are smart too as this book is the essence of fiction, creating a whole new world to get lost in. I liked the assortment of magic, different spells, power levels and how it played into the tale, which had plenty of surprises. All of the characters are believable and felt real, even though their experiences are anything but ordinary.
Very fun book. Definitely a page turner. I'm ready for the sequel.

If you're reading the reviews for Enchantment, you can tell that this book is amazing, truly a rare gem. Also, if you're reading these reviews, that means you're considering reading the book for yourself. My recommendation? Purchase a copy now and use your review-reading time for Enchantment-reading time. Besides, the reviews ALL say the same thing. AMAZING! Go ahead, read the sample pages. You'll see what I mean.

I read a ton of YA fiction and believe me, it is hard to find such a fun, exciting, YA fantasy love story with a unique story line in today's market but Charlotte Abel has defied the odds with Enchantment.

Where else will you get Hillbilly-style magic, BMX racing, true love, a chastity curse, and much more, all packed into the same story?! You've got to check it out. Just don't plan on doing anything until you're done though, because you won't want to put it down.

A lot of books fall short when it comes to characters but not this one. From the MC to the minor players, you will love them all.

Thank you Charlotte for making this such a fun read! Now, if I could just convince you to stop sleeping and eating so you could devote all your time to finishing the sequel... :)

Ok so first, I'm a little in love with both Josh and this story! Second, I don't know if I feel more sorry or frustrated for Channie. I really enjoyed this and even better I got it from read 2 review! I have nothing but good things to say, except for Channie's parents, who are pretty horrible, but if they weren't horrible the story wouldn't be so heart warming, so I guess that means I only have good things to say! I am even more happy to find out there is another book to continue this wonderful path! YAY! with all the twists and turns and total punch-you-in-the-gut surprises, I did not put this book down! Literally! I opened my email with the link at 9:30 this morning and it's midnight, and I'm already finished, and these hours included my 2 jobs and 2 college classes! And the writing made it so easy to just fly right through it! So extra high fives from me and thank you again for the opportunity! I WILL be buying the next one!

More About the Author

Charlotte Abel was born and raised in Oklahoma where she met her soulmate, Pete. She chased him to Boulder, Colorado and finally convinced him they were meant to be together forever. They've raised three kids, two ferrets, three dogs and countless hamsters -- and are still happily married.

She's in love with "real" life and paranormal romance. When she's not reading or writing, Charlotte enjoys hiking, bicycling and primitive archery (although she's never shot at anything other than a target!)
