An outstanding resource . . .,
By David Zampino "21st Century Hobbit" (Delavan, Wisconsin) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Enchiridion on the Family: A Compendium of Church Teaching on Family and Life Issues from Vatican II to the Present (Hardcover)
. . . which belongs on the shelf of priests, deacons, pastoral associates, and family life ministers throughout the Catholic Church.
The "Enchiridion" does not break any new ground. It does not promulgate any new doctrine. It offers no new teaching. What it DOES do, is gather under a single cover, all -- ALL the Church Teaching on Family and Life issues from Vatican II through its publication in 2000. In other words, it is one of the most useful single-volume reference works available for anyone in family ministry. No more having to keep shelves of reference material -- everything even remotely related to family and life issues is here. Very, very highly recommended |
