A terrific romp through trombonehood. Mr. Zalkind's melifluous first solo albom is breathtaking; a fully exploring endeavor testing the boundaries of possibility on trombone. You will not find a finer all-around trombonist anywhere, and I urge you to purchase this album and the inevitable follow-ups.

I have listened to Larry Zalkind's CD five or six times already, and each time is more amazing than the last. His playing is effortless, beautiful, breathtaking - it's as if the trombone had just been taken out of the case and played for the first time, it's so delicious and perfect. You will be blown away if you love music at all.
