3.0 out of 5 stars Review
Though, not the best book Nixon has ever written, she developed her characters well. This is a trait made apparent with good writers. The plot was not developed as well as the other books in this trilogy. But, overall this was a fairly good book but the other two books in the trilogy were much better.

In the third, and final book of the Hollywood Daughters Trilogy, we meet Erin Jenkins who is the granddaughter of Hollywood legend Abby Grant.
Erin is enjoying herself as the main character in the popular TV show, "The Family Next Door," when suddenly it is cancelled, and Erin doesn't know what to do with her life.
Her grandmother's attempt at a comeback special was a major flop, and her mother wants Erin to give up the life of a child actor, and enroll in a normal highschool.
One day Erin and her grandmother get together with Abby's brother, and decide to make a movie based on this book they just read. Abby will star as the grandmother, Erin will be the granddaughter, and Abby's brother will find a producer. All they need is a director. After searching they find out that nobody wants to direct a movie starring the has been actress Abby Grant. When all looks lost, Erin decides to ask her father to direct the movie. Erin's father runs an independent movie company, but the question is, will he do it?

Great book. The characters were fully developed, Joan Lowery Nixon described everything perfectly. Highly recommend.
