About the Author
Primarily known for his original songs and stage musicals, Jon Batson has turned his storytelling and writing talents to a different genre - short stories and novels. A wordsmith at heart, Jon began writing in earnest when he and his wife Eileen moved from Los Angeles to North Carolina. He has turned out a number of short stories including the award winning "Powder Monkey of Cape Fear," "Gaston's Last Run," "Love at the Lumina Pavilion," "Smoking Bedpan," and "Selfers". His novella, an action-packed murder mystery The Rands Conspiracy, was soon followed by Deadly Research. His short story collections; the dark tales of Murder at Thompson Bog and sci-fi tales Doll Bodies make for satisfying reads.
