Book Description

January 5, 2000 8 and up3 and up

Will Robert and Elizabeth find in Easton the life they want so desperately?

The year is 1768. In eight years, the American Revolution will begin. Two indentured servants, little more than children, escape first from their master and then from a search party determined to turn them over to the authorities. They hope to find work and freedom in the town of Easton. But when Elizabeth is badly wounded, Robert must do all he can to keep her alive.

He's scared--and confused. He needs help from someone, an adult. But should he turn to the wild woman of the woods? Or can he trust Nathaniel Hill, the friendly man he meets in town?

1.0 out of 5 stars Warning, December 21, 2008
This review is from: Encounter at Easton (Paperback)
I loved the first one soo much and loved this second one as well to up until a point, but in the end, I ended up hating this whole series with a fiery passion. Read at your own caution. It's a good book, but...well, read at your own caution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Encounter at Easton, November 12, 2004

I read this book in school, and I absolutely loved it! It's all written in testimony, so you can see every event from every characters point of view. It is very suspenseful, and since we only has a certain time to read it in school, I was always looking forward to the next class so I could read it. My teacher made the "bell-ringer" not ring it at the end of the story since we were all pretty much hanging off our seats. I would highly recommend it!
