I really enjoyed the outline of this study guide. It sparked so much conversation. Nicole Johnson writes, 'How can we encourage someone else when we feel so discouraged? Our temptation is to stand in the corner of the encouragement party. Just hang around the edges and observe everyone else having a good time. But that never works. It's not till we start throwing the confetti on others that we realize how much is landing on us! We can encourage others from the overflow of God's encouragement to us.' This work book did just that. Showed us how to encourage one another in a very practicle way!

We used this book as a small group bible study and loved it. Every lesson had a good combination of Scripture study as well as a practical application that we could use. I highly recommend it!

This was my all time favorite bible study book that I have done. I have never thought of encouraging others in this way before. It really goes in depth and makes you think of ways that are out of the ordinary to encourage others.

This book is being used in a women's bible study group....It is being beneficial and truly enjoyed by all who are attending. We have ladies that are new to the christian world...it is wonderful to witness the change in them and to hear them state how much they are learning and enjoying this book.... thank you..

I really like the idea for this study but feel that the questions could be more in depth and challenging. I would prefer to think through the scripture and apply it to my life in a deeper and more meaningful way than provided. I believe it is a good study for someone early in their Christian walk, for groups who have little time to devote to preparation, or for those who want a less intense/more superficial rather than deep study.

A co-worker and I are doing this as a once a week Bible study at work. We both enjoy it. Both of us have trouble understanding exactly what the author means by some of her questions. While there are no right-or-wrong answers, still, sometimes the questions are unclear. But otherwise, it's a great way to learn about Biblical encouragement.

Bought this book to be used in a small group study. It works fine for that. It is well written and humorous in places. Not an in-depth Bible study like you get with Beth Moore, but doesn't require the time hers do either.
