3.0 out of 5 stars Obsolete Edition, December 23, 2008
This review is from: Pilot's Encyclopedia of Aeronautical Knowledge (Paperback)
The FAA released a newer edition of this book in June 2008

Look for FAA-8083-25A Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge.

5.0 out of 5 stars High quality printing, December 29, 2007
This review is from: Pilot's Encyclopedia of Aeronautical Knowledge (Paperback)
This is exactly the same as the FAA's "Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge," (FAA-H-8083-25) but this is a commercial reprint by Skyhorse Publishing and it uses better paper (thicker/glossier) than the FAA's printed version, so I highly recommend this one.

AS a CFI I recommend this book as it is one of the sources of information for the pilots written test and it is easy to read and understand. I continually reference this work for my teaching and flying career. I highly recommend it.
