This is a very solid, authoritative and modern reference on the Antarctic Continent. It contains an enormous wealth of information about almost every possible topic related to Antarctica: geology, biology, meteorology, history, politics, and so on. Entries have been written by scientific experts in each field, so the contents are of very good quality. A highly recommendable addition to your library.
