Someone got me this for by birthday one year & it sat on my shelf unread for a couple of years. Then I decided to take up Yoga. I didn't really want to dive straight into lessons - so instead read the Yoga section of this book. It was an excellent introduction to the subject, but most usefull of all, it has a section laying out an easy to follow set of exercises for each day of the week over a ten week period.

It took me more like 25 weeks to complete the 10 week course (I was very unsupple!) - but by the end my general health & fitness had imporved considerably.

By providing this course of daily exercises its provides you with something to stick to & an understanding of which positions go well with each other.
