I grabbed this book on clearance somewhere, and I'm disappointed to have spent as much as I did. The political section isn't bad and includes occasional bits of research. The entertainment-oriented sections are just poorly constructed opinion pieces regarding particular pop figures that the two authors don't necessarily like. Karl Rove? Fine. They made a good and valid case that was kind of amusing. Britney Spears? They basically spent a page kicking the girl while she was down. They could've made valid points regarding the ego and publicity stunts in her career and instead chose to pick on her marriage to Kevin Federline and her mediocre parenting ability.

But as much as I wasn't expecting quality, I also wasn't expecting a book rampant with basic spelling and grammar errors, as well as poorly worded sentences. Obviously, someone thought this book was worth publishing, but not editing.

However, for the occasional bathroom reading, I guess it's not worth pitching away.

the entire printing sold out... and only one negative review??? C'mon you'd think a hyper partisan rant like this would pzzz off more holes.

only some poor soul who feels compelled to defend the holy roman emperor (child molestation, the dark ages, various global genocides) etc.

When I received this book, I scanned through it and was totally disappointed. I hid it away; was ashamed that I owned it. I really don't know what I expected, but I don't like it. Will pass it on whenever I can find anyone who wants it.

This book is amazing. I learned:

Dick Cheney is a draft dodger.
Who is responsible for the state of television.
Prince has turned on his fans.
And More...
