I love this book - you learn something no matter what your level of Jewish knowledge, and it's in little bits for those of us who like to learn in snippets.

This book makes a GREAT present. I've given it for bat mitzvahs, weddings, and of course it's great for friends who are expecting, so they can choose a name with a lot of meaning, and maybe one they hadn't heard of before. I always get hearty thanks for this hefty, holy book.

Many times in our study center we want to find details on a particular personality in the Tanaj, here we find the details required, if it is only a brief note: it is already in the book, if we have to expand on the theme: the quoted source can lead us to find it anywhere.

We can thus go the the extensive libruary, but trying to find a detail requires a prodigy menory, nobody has it, so this book is indispensable for such complete detail.

very useful in Torah /science reconciliation including true historic timelines.
