This book is very helpful, especially if you are thinking about getting a cat or
understanding the one you have, good to know if your breed of cat is good with
children or your lifestyle.

Good index for looking up a cat breeds. (My cat adopted me several years
ago when she was abandoned) and I was able to identify her as a
Norwegian forest Cat and described her perfectly in looks as well as temperment.Also a section on non pedigree Cats.

Big book that seems like a hardcover,but actually a big softcover,lots of Color photos, Information On Mannerisms, Behavior, Mostly Domestic Cats are Covered, All Breeds, Some info on big cat,here there. Features Cat Such As My Favorite: The Birmans, also Persians,Tabby,Maine Coots, so many Cats.
Great resourceful book for any cat lover.

I appreciated the beautiful pictures & illustrations not only of the different breeds, but pictures of cats in their environments & their displays of behaviors. The information on the anatomy of a cat has been very useful in my caring for two cats that I have adopted. It's a perfect compliment to another publication on cats that I recently purchased. The encyclopedia has been very useful in helping me raise my cats.

Informative book about cats. A must for people who like cats and want to learn more about them. /tells about caring for your cat as well asdifferent breeds.

the 3 cats and myself enjoyed finding out interesting things we did not know about our actions and different reasons for some of our behavour we loved the pictures also

I found this to be a very comprehensive, very interesting book on cats. I was engrossed for an hour and a half before I looked up from this book. Luckily, I had my cat with me to make me pet him every once in awhile, just to prove I was alive. I learned alot about cats and enjoyed this book also. I will use it in my classroom as my students love nonfiction books to peruse through and enjoy. They come from other countries and often have had experiences with cats in their countries they enjoy sharing. Recommended.
