Format: Hardcover
This book deals with all Chevrolet trucks produced from 1919 until 1999 (when the book was published. I used to write old farm tractor and farm machinery articles for the Belt Pulley magazine. Since the demise of that magazine in 2010. the articles have been posted to the on the Internet at WellsSouth.com. I have continued to write new articles directly for the website/blog at WellsSouth.com. I had need of this book to find the model number, engine options and other data in regards to Chevrolet 1-1/2 ton trucks (as opposed to smaller 1/2 ton pickups) for the articles that I am currently writing. I have found that I have use for nearly every Crestline Publisher's book that I can get. One book published by Crestline dealt with old steam engines, however, the surprise for me was that that particular book also had an introductory on the various breeds of work horses which were use prior (or actually concurrent with) steam engines on North American farms. Since obtaining that book I have used as much data from the chapter in that book on work horses as I have on steam engines in the articles that I write.

The Crestline books have a formula for the books. Each model year of car or truck represents an individual chapter in the book. The different data regarding changes made for each new model year of car or truck, production figures for the model year, and even price are usually found in roughly the same area in the text of each chapter. This makes it easy to locate the particular data that is needed at any particular time. This formula is probably encouraged by the editors at Crestline. However, Don Bunn does not disappoint in the detail he has added to the data in this book.

Most of the articles are on farm tractors and machinery that we have restored.
