This review is from: Encyclopedia of Death (Hardcover)
At first glance, this book appears to be mostly about factual matters, such as physical death and the funeral process. Upon further reading, there is much to be gained from this book. My interest in death is from a spiritual perspective, as I explore a shamanic path. There is great insight into this subject and it is well worth reading if you want to explore the subject of death more deeply.

I would have given this 5 stars, except the focus is extremely American and mainstream. It needs a companion that explores myth more fully.
