I was one of the Assistant Editors for this set of Encyclopedias so I read a good percentage of the articles. This set covers a good range of topics, and is written primarily for non-experts. The list of contributing authors reads like a Who's Who of the field. It's a great starting resource for High School and College Students interested in various research topics. It carries a pretty hefty price tag, however, so buying this is probably not a good idea for the average consumer. Definitely recommend it to your local libraries though!

I got a PHANTASTIC deal on these books, and it truly is a great set. I love looking at the science behind all these different drugs. There is a lot of information about rehab places and other stupid things, but more info doesn't hurt. Slightly outdated so doesn't include any of the new drugs such as: Krokodil, K2, Ivory Wave.
Overall great set though. |
